Fred Noonan proudly calls himself one of the nicest moms in comedy and has the vast collection of Mother’s Day cards to prove it. A happily married father of two who draws upon his experiences in parenting and a married life in an effort to reexamine all the flawed thinking that got him into this mess in the first place. He first started entertaining audiences in Chicago at clubs like Lotties and The Chicago Center for the Performing Arts and eventually brought his act back to Boston performing everywhere from The Comedy Studio and Giggles to a long litany of seedy bars that he’s none too proud of. Noonan’s story telling brand of comedy not only undermines the reputation of The Department of Child Services but often leads audiences wondering how a guy that bright could possibly be that stupid.
